OK.
If you aren’t a member of ‘The Risen’ (Tiger Woo of Solclaim)
you won’t be getting much more help from me in setting it up beyond what you
find in here and perhaps in the Skunkworks discussion group.
This script makes Spikes and sells them upstairs at the fletcher in rithwic.
Requirements:
Skunkworks (current version 2.2) and the 2.21 update zip which can be found: HERE.
You need to run this as close to totally empty as possible, these things weigh a lot! Packspace == Profit
Item Magic (casting level 3 spells) – and know Primary and Secondary Portal Recall (assumption is you have an item foci as well)
Alembic
Primary Portal Tie to the Retreat Exit
Secondary Portal Tie to Martines Retreat in Rithwic
Enough pyreal to buy 50 shafts and to heads (or buy them yourself initially)
Behaviours:
(0) Calibrate the animation value codes used to detect spell sucess
(1) recall to Primary Portal and navigate to the location upstairs from the fletcher. Will then randomize its working location slightly.
(2) make Greater Spikes until (a) runs out of material, (b) Burden exceeds 250% or (c) Main Pack Space Free < 2
(3) Sell all the heads (new sell routine is working great) at once without dragging anything.
(4) Buy 50 normal heads and 50 spike tails.
(5) if main pack space free is not < 20 repeat 2-4
(6) recall to Secondary Portal and navigate (laggy place these days) if possible to the archmage
(7) maintain minimum levels of copper scarabs and tapers, buy plats
(8) make sure any magic items you are wearing are charged up enough to last til the next archmage run
(9) repeat from step 1
Comments:
As I’ve posted, this script makes me between 55-60 plats an hour. Your Milage may Vary.
The Skunkworks program installs a local copy of a webpage, on that webpage (you can access it from Start Button -> Programs -> Skunkworks) on the links page there is a link for ‘Debugview’ – use this program to capture the debug output from this script in the event you have a problem, I’ll be asking you questions based on output captured by this program.
Why do you need an alembic? Because its used to reset the id – using yourself doesn’t work very well anymore and it was handy.
Why upstairs? Too many people around the vendor is rude and upstairs isn’t all that much more difficult than to the vendor.
Why release? Too many people in the retreat making too much lag for everyone else, spread the people around a little more and less lag for everyone.
Also.. I HATE SPAM.
Any problems not directly related to my script will be ignored, sorry but I don’t have the time to support the whole world.. it should work for most of you J
Some installations (very rare) don’t return the same anim values as everyone else. Sorry. If restarting the script in a non-laggy location doesn’t resolve your problem… I do apologize.
